Technical pilot: data and publication
Your email is used by the authentication service for sign-in. BIMBER stores your name, language, time zone, consent record and professional profile. Profiles are private before publication. Publishing makes your professional name, headline, biography, specialties and page address visible to anyone. Email and sign-in data are never published. Saving changes hides the page until you publish again. Do not include confidential information or other people’s personal data. To delete your account, contact the organiser who invited you to this pilot. This pilot is for invited participants only; full terms and operator contact details are required before open launch.
Profile photo, spoken languages, experience, qualifications, services, prices, selected workplaces and visible portfolio items also become public when you publish the page. Images are stored privately and location metadata is removed. Hiding a page blocks new image requests but cannot recall copies already downloaded by others. A shared place may remain on other professionals’ pages after you detach it. Only add public business addresses and images you have the rights and pictured people’s consent to publish. Image reports store the item identifier, reason and time for operator review.
Search text is sent to Photon (Komoot); the map loads from OpenStreetMap. Enter only a public business address. Your current location is not requested.
